Once cherished, it now captures dust on metal feathers,
Forgotten after being moved from perch to shelf.
Who now shall wind the clockwork raven?
Not I, not she, nor any who dwell in between.
With eyes dimming and cogs becoming weary,
It has long outlived any useful capacity.
Who now shall carry the clockwork raven?
Not we, not he, nor any who are too blind to see.
Wings too old to retreat into the sky
Broken talons too brittle to stand and fight.
Who now shall lay to rest the clockwork raven?
Maybe you, maybe me.

I honestly don't know what to say about this except that it is about being lost...and a little afraid. Emo stuff I guess.

Even if it's broken, I'd love to have a clockwork raven! It sounds so nice and a tad melancholy. I love it!
